A Game-Changing Children's Toy for the Internet of Things

CogniToys are internet-connected smart toys that learn and grow alongside children.Recognizing a clear gap in truly smart educational toys, CogniToys set out on a journey to redefine the way kids play with their favorite toys. They built technology that allows kids to directly engage in intelligent conversation with their toys. The technology allows toys to listen, speak and simultaneously evolve, learn and grow with your child — bringing a new element of personalized, educational play to children.

We worked closely with the technical team to actualize the CogniToys vision from initial concept through introduction into the retail market.  Our team developed the full CogniToys ecosystem, which included multiple consumer touch points including an onboarding app, website and ecomm experience. In addition, we worked closely with the team to develop their brand identity and ALL of their collateral including photography, packaging, manuals, in-store displays and more.

The CogniToys visual identity is an essential part of their brand story. My creative team helped established a strong brand identity, which is reflected in everything they do. We developed a brand personality to help set the tone for how they wanted to communicate with their audience both verbally and visually.

In order to get some initial users and backers of the CogniToys product line we went to Kickstarter to see if we achieved product market fit. The goal was to raise $50k which we ended up doing in the first 24 hours with an all in total of $275k for the first CogniToys Dino.
